S. Stephen Paek

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Paek is the founder of Jubilant Technologies, Inc. and has served as the Chief Technology Officer since the founding of the company. Since then he has also been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to founding Jubilant, Dr. Paek was a team leader in Columbia University's Digital Video Multimedia Lab, a research organization dedicated to researching new systems, algorithms, and theories for multimedia content analysis, management, manipulation, protection, and communications, with a primary focus on digital video. Dr. Paek was a member of the U.S. National Body to MPEG, the international organization responsible for pioneering breakthrough standards for multimedia systems and technologies. Dr. Paek holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University

Paul Tanwanteng

President and Senior Vice President, Sales

Mr. Tanwanteng is a computer industry veteran with over 24 years of experience in the IT industry. Paul was a co-founder and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Entersoft System Corporation. He was Director of OEM and International Sales at IMC, and was located in Asia as the Asia/Pacific managing director for Sequoia Systems and Pyramid Technology Corporation. Mr. Tanwanteng has also held sales, marketing, and engineering positions in Zilog, Monroe Business Systems, Hewlett-Packard and Bio-Sciences/Dow Chemical. Mr. Tanwanteng received his Master and Baccalaureate Degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of New York City.

Ang Zhang

Director of Engineering, Jubilant Software Group

Mr. Zhang has a proven, outstanding track record of software development, and has been the team leader for the design and implementation of the Jubilant ERM2 Platform. Mr. Zhang has extensive software development experience in multimedia indexing and content management, multimedia processing and encoding, multimedia encryption, and multimedia networking and communications. Mr. Zhang received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science from Xidian University and his M.S.E.E. from the department of Electrical Engineering of Columbia University.

Louis Wang

Director of Consulting Services, Jubilant Technology Solutions

Prior to joining Jubilant, Mr. Wang was a senior researcher in Columbia University’s ADVENT (All Digital Video Encoding Networking Transmission) Group. Mr. Wang has over 15 years of research and development experience in advanced video compression technologies and standards, and in video indexing and analysis technologies. Mr. Wang’s research is published in the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology, and the Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation, amongst others. Mr. Wang received the M.E. (Master of Engineering) degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University, one of China’s top academic institutions, where he was the recipient of the Outstanding Master Graduate Award. Mr. Wang also holds an M.S. from the department of Electrical Engineering of Columbia University.
